An Original is a title NAMI paid to bring into the world, rather than one we licensed after somebody else had already taken the risk. That is a meaningful difference for a platform this size: every Original is money that went to a crew on this continent.

We commission across the range — feature drama, documentary, comedy specials, and series that could not get made anywhere else because the audience they are for was considered too small to matter. It is not too small. It is just not in the room where those decisions usually get made.
